How /dashboard/editor works: the Pages panel, the AI chat panel, the device switcher and clicking straight on the preview.
Site editing happens full screen at /dashboard/editor, opened from the site-editor icon in the dashboard top bar.
Screen layout
One side is a management panel, the other is a live preview of your real page — not a mockup.
The top bar holds: back to dashboard and view card, a shortcut to the Catalog (/dashboard/catalog), a device switcher (Mobile, Tablet, Desktop) and the Publish button.
Two side panels
- Pages — the section list of the home page, reordering, a per-section editor, and the additional-pages area for sub-pages. - AI chat — the general prompt panel for Nila. Each message costs one token, and a proposal is applied only when you click.
Working straight on the preview
Clicking a section in the live preview opens that section's editor on the side. An empty column in a layout block shows a "+" inside the preview; clicking it opens the add-section picker already targeted at that column.
Wide screens
The full editor needs a wide screen. On mobile a notice explains to open it from a computer or tablet, while basic editing continues in the dashboard.
Step by step
1. Open the editor — In the dashboard, click the site-editor icon in the top bar; /dashboard/editor opens full screen. 2. Choose a panel — On the side, switch between "Pages" (structure and content) and "AI chat" (Nila prompts). 3. Edit a section — Click the section in the live preview, or open it in the list, and change its fields. 4. Check every device — Switch between Mobile, Tablet and Desktop in the top bar and confirm the page looks right at every width.
FAQ
Why can't I edit from my phone?
The full editor requires a wide screen, so it opens on desktop or tablet. On mobile a notice explains this, and content editing continues from the dashboard itself.
Is the preview really my site?
Yes. It is a live view of the actual page, not a mockup, so what you see there is what a visitor sees.
How do I quickly open a specific section's editor?
Click the section inside the live preview — its editor opens immediately in the side panel.
What exactly does the Publish button do?
It saves your changes and refreshes the live preview, so the public page reflects the updated state.
