What happens at /onboarding, which actions Nila offers, and exactly what she creates on your page.
Right after signing up you land on /onboarding — a screen titled "Nila builds your asset with you".
It is a chat, not a form
Nila does not run a fixed list of questions. She opens with one broad question and continues based on your answer. Type freely in the "Tell me about your business…" field and send with Enter or the send button.
The actions Nila offers
During the chat Nila proposes actions; each one runs only when you click its button:
- Create section — adds a single section to the page. - Build the structure — lays out a full page skeleton for your kind of business. - Save the details / Save contact info — writes business and contact details to your profile. - Write the copy — drafts the text inside an existing section. - Apply a theme / Apply to section — styling for the whole page or for one section. - Update Google appearance — SEO title and description.
She may also add sample catalog products and tell you so in the chat.
Cost
The onboarding chat is free of token cost, as stated on the screen itself. Tokens only start counting in the AI chats inside the editor.
Finishing
The header has a Next button (or Skip when nothing was created yet). Clicking it closes onboarding, marks it complete, and takes you to /dashboard. This is a one-way door: returning to /onboarding later redirects to the dashboard, and all further work happens in the dashboard and the editor.
Step by step
1. Open onboarding — After signing up, /onboarding opens with the screen "Nila builds your asset with you". 2. Describe the business — In the "Tell me about your business…" field, describe what the business does, for whom, and the goal, then send. 3. Approve the actions — Click the buttons Nila offers — "Build the structure", "Create section", "Save the details" — so she actually creates them. 4. Finish and move to the dashboard — Click "Next" at the top; onboarding closes and /dashboard opens for the rest of the work.
FAQ
How many tokens does the onboarding chat cost?
None. The onboarding chat with Nila is free of token cost. Tokens are only counted in the AI chats inside the editor, after onboarding is complete.
Can I return to onboarding after finishing?
No. Once onboarding is marked complete, visiting /onboarding redirects to the dashboard. Everything Nila built stays fully editable in the editor at /dashboard/editor.
Does Nila change things without my approval?
No. Every action is offered as a button (for example "Create section" or "Build the structure") and only runs when you click it.
What if I don't know what to write?
One sentence about what the business does and for whom is enough. Nila takes it from there and asks the next question herself; anything can be skipped and changed later.
