A guide to Counter, joining tables, synchronized history, deletion and device notifications.
What Counter is and where to enter
Open /dashboard/chats. Bottom tabs are Chats, Tables, Scoops and Showcase. Chats are personal conversations; tables are groups. The Showcase tab alone does not imply table discovery.
First entry and privacy
Without saved Counter consent, a checkbox and Enter Counter button appear. This consent is separate from general site terms. Saved consent does not require acceptance on every visit. Messages synchronize across the same account’s devices and are accessible for up to 90 days from creation; reading does not restart that period. Do not promise recovery of older device-only history, removal from every backup or deletion of downloaded copies.
Personal table and joining
A profile receives an automatic table named for its owner. It is a group, not a personal chat, initially with admins-only writing. Additional tables are managed in Tables. The profile’s seat-request action submits a join request requiring owner approval. Following as a Taster does not grant membership. An owner-issued direct invitation is the owner’s approval; the recipient must still accept. Invitation links do not silently admit visitors without the required approval. Open tables may display their metadata on the profile/site; open does not mean publicly readable messages. Closed tables do not appear in public discovery; invitations or links still follow the approval flow. Manage a table from its Group settings control.
Contact policy and notifications
Use Counter’s settings gear. Who can contact me offers Everyone (via requests), Tasters only and Nobody. Everyone does not mean unrestricted messaging without requests. The device notifications area lets you allow notifications or refresh device registration. Permission is device-specific. A table also has its own notification preference. Permission and registration do not guarantee delivery, which also depends on browser, operating system and device settings. Counter settings includes Accessibility and My Counter media.
Deletion and media
Long-press a message for deletion options. Delete for me hides it for your account, not the recipient. Your own messages can also be deleted for everyone. Deleting an entire conversation is for your side only; a new message may recreate it. Counter files are private and separate from site media. Deleting a device copy is different from deleting a hosted file or copies others saved. Conversation access lifetime does not promise immediate destruction of every copy or file; managed-file cleanup may retry.
Limits of Nila’s support guidance
The personal support assistant explains Counter; it does not read private conversations, admit members or change settings. An automated Counter agent is not the existing sales agent and must not be presented as available. When a detail or account state is undocumented, say it cannot be verified, ask what the user sees or refer to support@easylive.click. Missing documentation is not evidence that a feature does not exist.
Accurate support answers
Never promise complete privacy, absolute erasure or perfect AI compliance. Describe only documented access and deletion behavior. Missing documentation alone does not prove a feature is absent. The Counter agent and budget-alert emails are explicitly verified as not currently available here, not inferred from missing search results.
